This Post Office is so lost! I have never had to deal with one more confused than this one in the 22 years I have been in business. I mailed a Federal Newsletter to a client in East Kingston 3 times, each time, I called to insure the address was correct, then used another envelope and started the process over again and again and again until my client finally got it. Nothing changed-it was always the correct address. I could have run next door to deliver it myself. In such a little town, if you don't know what or where the roads are, then close down. Do not waste the public's valuable time!
SO THEY WERE TO DELIVER A PACKED THAT WAS SIGNATURE REQUIRED THE NEVER CAME UP THE STAIRS AND LEFT THE SIGNATURE SLIP IN THE MAIL BOX AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STREET AND MY PREGNANT WIFE TRIED RUNNING AFTER THE GUY AND HE DROVE OFF
It's just a post office. Yeah the hours aren't the best, but look at the town. Honestly it's not too much better anywhere else. I buy and ship alot online, so I'm always in there. The ladies there are always nice, always smiling, and generally helpful. If your main concern is availability for picking stuff up like the above poser, perhaps get a mailbox, I don't think you'll get much more availability elsewhere.
They are a small post office, but the customer service is awesome!
utterly awful. i tried calling numerous times and no one picked up the phone. the times to pick up packages is ridiculous for those who have jobs or go to school and then once there whoever it is took forever in getting me my package.
Although, I wouldn't mind if they just had another staffer there, so there isn't a gap in the middle of the day where one has to wait. That's annoying.
I also agree with one of the other reviewers and the phone service is simply deplorable.
